TCU to play three of its next four at home beginning Wednesday vs. Cowgirls

FORT WORTH – TCU is set for its first home game of the new year on Wednesday when it hosts Oklahoma State at 6:30 p.m. at Schollmaier Arena.

Beginning with the contest vs. the Cowgirls, the 13^th-ranked Horned Frogs will play four of their next five games against teams likely to hear their names called on Selection Sunday come March. TCU completes a two-game homestand on Sunday vs. Arizona State, which won 15 straight games to begin the season 15-0. The Frogs then face West Virginia and No. 19 Ohio State on Jan. 14 and Jan. 19, respectively, away from home.

TCU's 34-game home winning streak is the second-longest in all of Division I, trailing only No. 2 Texas' run of 36 straight home victories for the national lead.
The Horned Frogs average margin of victory at home is 44.7 points this season and 26.9 points since Mark Campbell took over the program in 2023-24.
TCU has notched 33 victories of at least 20 points at home in the Campbell era.
The Frogs are giving up just 53.4 points per game at home over the last three seasons.

Frog Focus

Wednesday's ballgame is a showcase of two of the nation's premier 3-point offenses. Oklahoma State and TCU average a combined 20.8 threes per game and rank second and fifth, respectively, nationally in 3-pointers per game.
TCU and Oklahoma State collectively have reached double figures in deep balls in 14 games, with the Cowgirls converting 10-or-more attempts from distance eight times.
TCU leads college basketball in total 3-pointers over the last three seasons with 816 and is one of only two teams alongside Richmond ranking in the top-10 nationally in 3-point field goals, 3-point field goals per game (4th, 9.5) and 3-point percentage (6th, .370) since 2023-24. The Cowgirls top the national rankings this season in total threes (172).
TCU, alongside Villanova, is one of only two teams in the country with five players who have knocked down at least 19 threes this season; Marta Suarez (40), Donovyn Hunter (33), Olivia Miles (23), Maddie Scherr (21) and Taylor Bigby (19).
The five players are responsible for 91 percent of TCU's total 3-point offense (136-150). The quintet is averaging 9.1 threes per game.
In nine of TCU's 15 games, Suarez, Hunter, Miles, Scherr and Bigby have combined to connect at least eight times from distance.
Miles (19.3 ppg), Suarez (18.6 ppg) and Hunter (13 ppg) are the nation's fourth highest-scoring trio at 50.9 points per game.
The trio has combined to score 50-plus in 10 of TCU's 15 ballgames.
Miles and Suarez are the highest-scoring duo in the Big 12 and the lone pair of teammates in the country each averaging 18 points per game.
Miles and Suarez have teamed up to score at least 40 points six times.
Olivia Miles and Suarez combined for five triple-doubles in a 25-day span from. 6-31. Not only does TCU lead the country in triple-doubles by a sizable margin, the Horned Frogs' five triple-doubles are tied for the third-most in a single season in NCAA history. Oregon set the NCAA single-season record in Mark Campbell's tenure as associate head coach, racking up eight triple-doubles in 2018-19 and 2019-20.
TCU's five triple-doubles in December were also the most in a single month by a team in NCAA history.
The Horned Frogs' primary starting five of Miles, Suarez, Hunter, Scherr and Clara Silva is the fifth highest-scoring unit in college basketball at 67.1 points per game. Only South Carolina (76.5 ppg), Oklahoma (72.1 ppg), Notre Dame (70.3 ppg) and UCLA (68.5 ppg) have higher scoring starting lineups.
TCU has received a 20-point performance by Miles, Suarez or Hunter in nine games.
Miles, Suarez and Silva are one of just three trifectas in the country each averaging at least 10 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. The others are Kentucky's Clara Strack, Teonni Key and Jordan Obi and Missouri's Shannon Dowell, Jordana Reisma and Grace Slaughter.
Even after suffering an overtime loss and giving up 87 points at Utah on Saturday, TCU ranks second in the country in scoring defense (51.9 ppg) and field goal percentage defense (.308).
In the Campbell era, TCU has held 84 percent of its opponents (70-84) under their season scoring average, including 13-of-15 in 2025-26.
Fifteen games into the 2025-26 campaign, TCU is one of only three teams in college basketball alongside No. 1 UConn and No. 2 Texas scoring at least 85 points per game while allowing less than 53.
TCU is also one of three teams shooting it better than 48 percent from the field while holding opponents below a 33 percent clip. The others are No. 3 South Carolina and No. 5 LSU.
The Horned Frogs rank seventh in the country in assists per game with 20.8. At home, that figure increases to 24.4.
At least two Frogs have netted five-or-more assists in seven of TCU's 14 victories, including each of its last five home wins.
All three members of TCU's starting backcourt possess career assist-to-turnover ratios of at least 1.5; Hunter (2.21) Miles (2.09) and Scherr (1.61).
With respective assist-to-turnover ratios of 3.64 and 3.36, Scherr and Hunter make TCU the nation's lone team with two qualified players possessing assist-to-turnover ratios of at least 3.0.
Dating back to December 15, 2024, TCU has led at halftime in 40 of its last 42 ballgames. The Horned Frogs have not faced a halftime deficit in 24 straight games vs. Big 12 foes.
TCU has not faced a multi-possession deficit in any home game and has trailed for only 5:50 combined inside Schollmaier Arena this season.

Olivia Miles

Over her last six games, is averaging 21.2 points, 9.7 rebounds and 8.8 assists per night.
Has increased her scoring average to 24 points per night since the start of conference play.
For the season, is averaging career-highs in points per game (19.3), rebounds per game (7.5), assists per game (7.7) and steals per game (2.1) while shooting 52 percent from the field.
Notched her 33rd game with at least 15 points, five rebounds and five assists in Saturday's loss at Utah. She ranks eighth in NCAA history for career 15-5-5 games.
Has finished with at least 15 points and five assists all but once this season.
Ranks fourth among all D1 players in total assists (116) and assists per game.
Scored a career-high 31 points on Saturday at Utah and matched Madison Conner's 31-point effort at Cincinnati on Feb. 17, 2024 for the most points scored by a TCU player in a Big 12 game under Campbell.
Ahead of Wednesday's ballgame, is on pace to become one of only four players in NCAA history to average at least 18 points, seven rebounds and seven assists per game in a season. The others are Caitlin Clark, Sabrina Ionescu and Kim Rhock (Mount St. Mary's).

Marta Suarez

Is the only player in college basketball averaging at least 18 points, six rebounds and two assists per game while shooting better than 50 percent from the floor and 40 percent from distance.
Her 40 threes are the most of any D1 player at least 6-3.
Has already drained the ninth-most 3-pointers in a season by a Big 12 player standing 6-3 or taller.
Ranks sixth in all of Division I in scoring average among players 6-3 or taller.
Has led TCU in scoring in a team-high six games.
Notched her team-leading seventh 20-point game and fourth double-double on Saturday vs. Utah, finishing with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Clara Silva

Is averaging 12.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game over her last six outings.

Series Notes: Oklahoma State

TCU saw a 15-point halftime lead slip away in last season's 60-59 loss to Oklahoma State in Stillwater. The Horned Frogs led 39-24 at halftime, only for the Cowgirls to rattle off a 18-2 run over the final six minutes of play to steal the win. The game remains the largest blown lead by TCU in a Big 12 game and is one of only two times a Campbell-led team has surrendered a 10-point advantage.
The Horned Frogs' 68-66 victory over the Cowgirls in the second round of the 2024 Big 12 Championship staked the program to its third-of-four 20-win seasons as a conference member. TCU rallied from six points down with 6:00 to go in the win.
Among TCU's returning players, Taylor Bigby drilled a trio of first quarter 3-pointers and finished with 11 points in last season's ballgame vs. Oklahoma State.
