No. 12 TCU battles Lady Raiders at 1 p.m. on Sunday on FS1

FORT WORTH – No. 12 TCU is set to do battle with 21^st-ranked Texas Tech at 1 p.m. on Sunday in Lubbock in the first ever 'ranked vs. ranked' matchup between the Lone Star State rivals.

The Horned Frogs enter the second half of Big 12 play tied for first in the Big 12 standings and two games clear of the Lady Raiders. Beginning with its visit to west Texas, TCU will play five of its final nine regular season games vs. AP Top 25 teams.

Sunday's game is the lone meeting between TCU and Texas Tech this season and will air on FS1.

TCU will take sole possession of first place in the Big 12 standings with a win over the Lady Raiders and loss by No. 14 Baylor at No. 22 West Virginia on Sunday.
The Horned Frogs are 8-1 at the midpoint of Big 12 play for the second straight year.
TCU's average margin of victory in league play this season is 15.1 points. That figure increases to 16.6 points when including the Frogs' 16 conference wins in 2024-25.

Among Power Conference teams, only South Carolina (93), UConn (90), Texas (88), LSU (80) and UCLA (79) have won more games than the Frogs over the last three seasons.
TCU's 10 ranked wins over the last two seasons top the Big 12 are tied with Duke and Notre Dame for the sixth most of any team nationwide.

Olivia Miles (15 points, 14 rebounds) and Clara Silva (12 rebounds, 11 points) each finished with a double-double in the Horned Frogs' victory at No. 10 NC State on Nov. 16. It marked one of just eight instances thus far in 2025-26 in which two teammates posted a double-double vs. an AP Top 25 team in the same game.
The Horned Frogs have held eight teams to their lowest scoring outputs of the season, including three of their last five Big 12 foes and four of eight overall in league play.
In total, 19 teams have failed to shoot better than 40 percent or meet their season scoring averages vs. TCU in 2025-26.

TCU has received a 20-point performance by Miles, Suarez or Hunter in 13 games.
Miles, Suarez and Silva have all scored in double figures in eight of TCU's last 12 games and nine times overall. One of the three has finished as the Frogs' leading scorer in 12 consecutive outings.
