TCU set to host in-state foe in first meet of season
FORT WORTH – A new season of collegiate swimming and diving is near, as the TCU swimming and diving team is set to open the 2025-26 campaign with a dual meet against Incarnate Word at 2 p.m. at the TCU Recreational Center.
This marks the first of four home meets of the year for the Horned Frogs, as they will also play host to Oklahoma Christian (Dec. 13), Trinity (Jan. 13) and Texas Permian Basin (Jan. 10).
Last season, TCU earned 14 medals at the Big 12 Championships, as both the men's and women's team took home fourth-place finishes. Filip Suchanski, David Ekdahl and Anna Kwong went on to compete at the NCAA Championships. A total of 17 student-athletes from the program went on to garner All-Big 12 honors for the 2024-25 season.
To open the 2024-25 campaign, the Frogs went on the road in a two-day meet against Texas A&M and BYU, where TCU saw its women's squad best the Cougars, 85.50-81.50.
Following this weekend's showdown against the Cardinals, TCU will head to Houston to take on Rice, Houston and Villanova in a women's only meet from Oct. 10-11.
