FROG FOCUS
The Horned Frogs are 6-3 this season, and are currently riding a three-game win streak in which they've only allowed three points. The Frogs are coming off of a 4-0 sweep of the West Virginia Mountaineers.
The match started in doubles, where No. 24 Jade Otway and Isabel Pascual earned their third win as a pair this season in a dominant 6-1 win over Mille Haagensen and Lyla Byers on court one. Raquel Caballero and Tomi Main clinched the doubles point for the Horned Frogs with a 6-2 win over Julie Bousseau and Tatiana Lipatova moving the pair to 2-0 on court three.
In singles, the Frogs came out firing, where Isabel Pascual won 6-0, 6-1 on court three to give the Frogs a 2-0 lead. Cayetana Gay won her second match of the season in a commanding 6-1, 6-2 win on court six against Susannah Su.
It was Yu-Chin Tsai, who yet again clinched the match for the Frogs, her second in a row. This time, it was in straight sets, with a 6-2, 6-2 victory on court four that secured the match for TCU.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
The Cincinnati Bearcats are 6-2 this season, and are 5-1 in their last six games. Coming off of a 1-6 loss at Baylor, Cincinnati is looking for their first Big 12 win of the season.
This will be the second time that the Horned Frogs will take on the Bearcats with the Frogs winning the last matchup, 7-0.
