Postseason competition begins for the Frogs in Lubbock, Texas
FORT WORTH – TCU makes its third trip to Lubbock, Texas, this indoor season as postseason competition begins at the Big 12 Indoor Championships. The two-day meet begins Friday, Feb. 23 at 10 a.m. at the Sports Performance Center.

At the Jarvis Scott Open, Iyana Gray's time of 22.98 in the 200m marked the new school record and broke the old record of 22.99 that was set in 2007 by Virgil Hodge. She finished second overall. Her altitude-adjusted time of 23.05 ranks second on the indoor Big 12 performance list heading into the weekend.
Also having a stellar weekend at the Jarvis Scott Open was Benjamin Kirbo, whose personal-best height of 5.36m (17-7) broke the school record and earned him the No. 4 spot on the Big 12 performance list. He's broken the school record four times in as many meets this indoor season.
TCU's mid-distance squad continued to shine at the Jarvis Scott Open. Jasmin Muhammad-Graham ran the second-fastest 600y time in program history with her mark of 1:19.87. Additionally, the top three 800m times in program history were all run in the same race. Gracie Morris placed first with her new school-record time of 2:05.59. Tabitha Kalunde Ngao (2:05.61) and Jasmin Muhammad-Graham (2:07.15) ran the second and third-fastest times in program history.
In one final tuneup before postseason competition, the Distance Frogs traveled to the Alex Wilson Invitational on Feb. 17. The squad of Ngao, Muhammad-Graham, Samarra Monrroy and Gracie Morris shattered the DMR school record by 37.4 seconds with their time of 11:04.92.
Additionally, Graydon Morris won the mile and improved on his already-No. 2 mark in TCU history with his time of 4:02.08.

2023 Recap
The Horned Frogs had a stellar outdoor season as they qualified 22 total entries for the NCAA West Preliminary and sent two entries to the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Sydney Juszczyk won her first Big 12 Outdoor Championship in the javelin with her throw of 50.40m (165' 4").
Also highlighting the 2023 season was the crowning of two TCU champions at the Penn Relays. Iyana Gray won the Frogs' first ever championship in the women's 100m and the team of Ethan Brown, David Seete, Donnie James and Ryan Jordan brought home TCU's first 4x400 title since 2008.
