TCU set for first outdoor match of the season Wednesday
FORT WORTH – The TCU women's tennis team is set to host University of Texas at Arlington on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
First serve will be at 5:30 p.m. and admission is free. Pizza and 2024 schedule magnets will be handed out to all fans.

TCU is off to a 3-1 start this season with wins coming over Northwestern State, Rice and Incarnate Word. The Horned Frogs are 2-0 at home and are set to play the first outdoor match of the season against the Mavericks. In its last matchup the Frogs swept the Incarnate Word Cardinals 7-0 in Fort Worth.
Jade Otway and Isabel Pascual earned the first win of the afternoon with a 6-1 win on court two. Chiho Mushika and Yu-Chin Tsai advanced to 2-1 as a pair clinching the doubles point over the Cardinals.
In singles, all six Frogs took down their opponents in straight sets for the second time this season. Mushika and Margaret Polk earned their first double bagels of the season in court five and six, respectively. Otway stayed perfect in singles (3-0) with a win over Sofia Franco Salcedo 6-2, 6-2.
Tsai earned her third win of the season and first on court three with a 6-2, 6-0 finish. Pascual advanced to 2-2 on court one this season winning 6-3, 6-2 and Narmont improved to 2-0 with a 6-2, 6-2 win on court four.
Scouting the Opposition
UTA has started the spring season with a record of 6-2. The Mavericks are coming off a double-header weekend where they swept both UT Dallas and Collin College 7-0.
TCU leads the all-time dual match series 18-0 over UTA. The last meeting coming from 2016 where the Frogs defeated UTA 6-1 in Fort Worth.
