Horned Frogs earn three event wins at Alex Wilson Invitational
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – TCU's new school record in the women's distance medley relay highlighted a successful day at the Alex Wilson Invitational on Saturday afternoon in the Loftus Sports Center.
The squad of Tabitha Kalunde Ngao, Samarra Monrroy, Jasmin Muhammad-Graham and Gracie Morris shattered the DMR school record by 37.4 seconds with their new program-best time of 11:04.92. The previous school record of 11:42.32 was set in 2015.
Graydon Morris improved on his No. 2 mark in program history in the mile with his winning time of 4:02.08. In the 800m, Ryan Martin earned his second straight win with his time of 1:49.12. In the women's 200m, Samarra Monrroy won with her time of 24.96.
Gracie Morris finished second overall in the 800m with her time of 2:08.16. Lloyd Frilot placed third (1:49.80) and Giovouni Henry took sixth (1:51.03) in the 800m as well.
Mckenzie Bailey finished third in the women's 3000m with her time of 9:51.64.
