
TCU Finishes The Year at No. 16 in United Soccer Coaches Poll

FORT WORTH — The TCU women's soccer team finished No. 16 in the final United Soccer Coaches rankings for 2024.
TCU posted a 17-4-2 record, including an undefeated 9-0-2 mark in Big 12 play. After being picked to finish third in the Big 12 preseason poll, the Horned Frogs went on to capture their third Big 12 regular-season title in five years.
The Frogs were one of 17 teams nationally to qualify for eight of the last nine NCAA tournaments and one of 20 teams to host five of the last eight first rounds.
Head coach Eric Bell earned his third Big 12 Coach of the Year award, while Oli Pena was named Big 12 Midfielder of the Year and Bella Diorio was named Big 12 Forward of the Year.
TCU led the Big 12 with 10 all-conference selections, including six first-team honorees — the most in program history.
Five Frogs earned a spot on United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest region team as Seven Castain, Diorio and Pena earned first-team honors while Morgan Brown secured a spot on the second team. Caroline Kelly earned fourth-team honors.
Castain and Diorio were tabbed as All-Americans by United Soccer Coaches. Diorio was named to the second team while Castain earned fourth-team honors.
