Frogs travel to Ruston after three-week break
RUSTON, La. – Coming off a three-week break from action, TCU cross country is back on the road this weekend, running in the LA Tech Mook 4 Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 5.
It's been a hot start to the season for the Distance Frogs, who have swept the team titles in all three races so far on the men's side this season and have a pair of team victories on the women's side at the John McKenzie Invitational and the UTA Gerald Richey Invitational. Additionally, TCU also has four individual race winners, Graydon Morris, Tabitha Ngao (twice) and Tate Underwood.
Running at Tech Farm, in Ruston, La., the meet marks the first race outside of the Lone Star State for the Frogs this season. The women will race the 5k distance, while the men gear up for an 8k. TCU is joined by Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Grambling, LA Tech, Northwestern State, Southern and ULM.
Coming into the weekend, TCU is ranked No. 5 in the South Central Regional rankings and are in the hunt for one of the AQ bids to the NCAA Cross Country Championship. The women are sitting at No. 10 in the regional rankings and look continue their climb with only two more regular season races remaining.
