Bright, Ryan Earn Preseason Big 12 Honors

Duo honored for second straight season
FORT WORTH – For the second straight season, TCU women's soccer senior Yazmeen Ryan and junior Messiah Bright have earned a spot on the Big 12 preseason all-conference squad as voted upon by league coaches.
For Ryan, this marks her third appearance on the Big 12 preseason all-conference team. She is coming off a career season that saw her register 23 points that included a career-high seven goals and a school-record tying nine assists. She enters the season ranked third all-time in school history with 17 assists and ninth all-time with 49 points.
Bright, a two-time all-conference performer, put together one of the best offensive seasons in school history. She became just the third Horned Frog to post a 30-point season. Her team-leading 12 goals were the third-most in a single season. She also contributed six assists along the way. Bright enters the season ranked eighth all-time with 18 goals and 11th all-time with 43 points.
The Horned Frogs are in the midst of fall camp which began on Aug. 4.
