
TCU Drops Match to Ohio State

The Horned Frogs finished the weekend with a loss to the Buckeyes.
TEMPE, Ariz. – The weekend in Arizona ended on Sunday afternoon as the TCU women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to No. 11 Ohio State at the Whiteman Tennis Center in Tempe.
The doubles point between the Horned Frogs (6-3) and the Buckeyes (8-2) came down to the final court with the TCU top pair of Ellie Douglas and Aleksa Cveticanin taking down the No. 21 ranked pair of Shiori Fukuda and Isabelle Boulais, 7-6(2). A late break on court two proved to be the difference as Ohio State clinched the early lead in the match with a 7-5 win.
The Buckeyes were able to take the momentum into singles action as they took all six matches to finish out the match.
