Quotes from the Match
Head Coach Lee Taylor Walker
"We knew Coach Sujay (Lama) would have his team ready for us as he always does, but we were prepared and played a solid afternoon of tennis. I am proud of the girls for elevating their games and we will need to continue to do that against Texas A&M and Rice. Kate (Paulus) continues to show she has a real grasp on our system and I am proud of her for having a dominant performance. For Ellie (Douglas) and Stevie (Kennedy) to get some nationally ranked wins and for Aleksa (Cveticanin) to beat a NCAA competitor from last season is also huge for their confidence and our team. We are in a good spot now. We need to get healthy these next two days and get ready to raise our level again."
