FAZIOLI'S THOUGHTS
"We needed to see this level of competition, but we are capable of more. We are solid enough to be top 16-17, but today was a learning experience. Bren will get continue to get better as she races more and get ready for postseason in a month."
Women's cross country returns to action at NCAA Pre-Nationals in Louisville, Ky., scheduled for Oct. 14. The men's next meet is the Incarnate Word Invitational, scheduled for Oct. 7.
