TCU (7-3) will look to close its nonconference schedule on a three-game winning streak and enter its Christmas break with a win for the sixth straight season. The Frogs will also be looking to give head coach Raegan Pebley her 200th career victory.

Last Time Out
After a week off, TCU was sluggish early but dominated the middle quarters and pulled away for a 77-48 win over Texas Southern at Schollmaier Arena on Sunday afternoon.
TCU committed eight turnovers in the first quarter alone, but had just three over the next 20 minutes and dominated inside to pull away. Sophomore center Jordan Moore finished one point shy of a career high as she scored all 15 of her points in the first half. Her frontcourt mate, sophomore Amy Okonkwo, added 11 points in the first half and finished the game with 13.
The Frogs moved the ball well as they posted 22 assists on their 27 made baskets. Defensively, TCU forced Texas Southern into 23 turnovers and also held the Tigers under 30 percent shooting overall from the field.
Scouting Alcorn State
Alcorn State (0-9) is one of four teams in the nation that remains winless on the season. The Lady Braves are coming off of a 90-37 loss at Texas Tech on Sunday in which they were outscored in the paint, 52-10.
The Lady Braves got closest to a win when they dropped a 70-66 contest at home against Jacksonville State. Alcorn forced 28 turnovers in that game and led with less than a minute remaining.
Tia Sanders leads the Lady Braves in scoring with 11.3 points per game and is the only player averaging double figures. Miracle Rushing ranks in the SWAC top five with 7.7 rebounds per game.
The Series
Alcorn State leads the all-time series against TCU, 2-0. Alcorn won in Fort Worth in 1995-96, then at home in Lorman, Miss., in 1996-97.
Five Points
1) Raegan Pebley enters Sunday's game with 199 career victories between her stints at Utah State, Fresno State and TCU. Pebley is looking to become the sixth of the 10 active Big 12 coaches to reach the 200-win plateau, despite being the second youngest of the 10.
2) The Frogs have finished nonconference play 8-3 in both of Pebley's seasons at TCU, and would do so for a third time with a win on Tuesday. TCU has also won its final game before Christmas break in five straight seasons with the last loss coming to Georgia in 2010.
3) TCU's offensive efficiency can be seen in its 19.0 assists per game, which ranks 12th in the NCAA. The Frogs assist on 71.1 percent of their baskets, the top mark in the Big 12.
4) Okonkwo leads the Frogs in scoring with 11.7 points per game, but is part of a balanced effort as AJ Alix (10.7), Jada Butts (10.6) and Moore (10.6) all average double figures.
5) The Frogs shoot 42.4 percent from 3-point range as a team, the third best mark in the NCAA. TCU has made at least six 3-pointers in every game this season and connected on at least seven in all but one game.
Up Next
The Frogs will take some time off for the holidays before returning to Fort Worth to open Big 12 play against undefeated No. 14 West Virginia on Thursday, December 29. The Frogs and Mountaineers will tipoff at 6:30 p.m.
