Team Records, Game Notables and Series Information
• TCU is now 10-3 on the season with a perfect 2-0 record in Big 12 Conference play.
• Kansas State falls to 10-3 with an 0-2 mark in league play.
• It is the first time in TCU history that the Frogs have started Big 12 Conference play with a perfect 2-0 record.
• TCU owns its first 10-3 start since the 2009-10 season when the Frogs opened 12-3.
• TCU now leads the all-time series 5-3, having won four of the last five games between the teams.
Team Notes
• TCU's 87 points were its most scored in a Big 12 Conference game in program history, surpassing the 86 scored against Iowa State on Jan. 7, 2015.
• TCU held a 37-25 advantage on the boards, winning the battle of the boards by 12. Two of TCU's three largest margins on the boards in their advantage in Big 12 Conference play over the last two seasons have come in the last two games.
• TCU has won 10 of its last 12 home conference openers.
• TCU hit at least 10 three-point field goals in a game for the 10th time during the Raegan Pebley era.
Individual Notes
• Senior Zahna Medley had 27 points, hitting 7-of-11 field goals and 5-of-9 three-point field goals. She was also 8-of-8 from the free throw line. She added four assists and three steals in 36 minutes.
o Medley's five three-point field goals moved her into the top 10 in Big 12 Conference history with her 268th three of her career, surpassing Kiera Hardy (Nebraska) and Kristin Rehtman (K-State) on the all-time list to move to 10th place.
o Medley's 27 points moved her to into 35th place on the Big 12 Conference's all-time scoring list at 1,648 points.
• Sophomore AJ Alix hit four three-point field goals in the game and reached that mark for the second time this season. She finished with 14 points.
o Alix also added 10 assists in the game, setting a new career high and becoming the first TCU star with at least 10 assists in a game since Zahna Medley had 11 against Kansas on Jan. 14, 2015. It is Alix's second effort of at least nine assists in a game this season.
• Senior Veja Hamilton tied her season high with 18 points. She scored 10 of TCU's first 20 points.
Coaching Notes
• In her second year at TCU, head coach Raegan Pebley is now 28-17 as the leader of the Horned Frogs. She is now 184-192 in 13 seasons as a head coach.
• Pebley's squad is off to a 10-3 start, the best of her collegiate coaching career.
• TCU improved to 2-1 against Kansas State during the Pebley era, having won both contests in Fort Worth.
