Trio Of Frogs Earn Academic Honor

FORT WORTH – A trio of TCU soccer players were named CoSIDA second-team Academic All-Americans for their exemplary work in the classroom. Lauren Sajewich, a two-time all-district performer, was honored along with Michelle Prokof and Shannon Coffer.
To be nominated for all-district accolades, student athletes must have a GPA of 3.30 or higher and participate in at least 75% of the team's contests.
Sajewich, a second-team honoree as a sophomore, boasts a 3.98 GPA in movement science. Prokof owns a 3.90 GPA as a social work major, while Coffer has a 3.83 GPA as a nursing major.
In all nine members of the Big 12 Conference were honored by CoSIDA.
