Oklahoma State Head Coach Jim Littell
Opening Statement
"They're a very talented team and they're very athletic. They played a very unconventional lineup with five guards on the floor. It creates some tough matchups for us. I thought we did a good job of holding the press and scoring at the end of it. We didn't guard the way were capable of guarding and again credit TCU for having some talented players that can score off the bounce. We have to execute much better."
TCU Head Coach Raegan Pebley
Opening Statement
"We love playing at the Rec Center and we are very aware that we don't get to play all of our games here and we have to carry this momentum on the road. Oklahoma State is one of the better teams in our league. They made me nervous watching film. As a coaching staff you just put together the best game plan that you can to help your team play to its strengths and your girls have to go out an execute it. I thought they executed very well but I thought they also adjusted very well in game."
On the crowd
"It's the energy they bring and we're going to need that for every single game we're here. Were going to need to create that energy by ourselves when we're on the road. One of our dreams as a program is that we have that type of energy when we move into our new arena, so that's going to require a lot more people come to our games in order to create that. Our fans have been such an asset for us this season. "
Junior guard Veja Hamilton
On the energy of the crowd
"It definitely helps having the crowd giving us energy, especially when we could've let the fatigue get to us. We had to be mentally tough, and the atmosphere was really helpful tonight."
Senior forward Chelsea Prince
On her free throws late in the game
"I wasn't even thinking about it. I just step up to the line and know that my teammates and coaches have confidence in me and that I need to have confidence in myself. I'm not going to say they won the game; they're a part of the game. They're important but they didn't win the game."
