Soccer Earns NSCAA Team Academic Award

FORT WORTH - For the seventh consecutive season, the TCU women's soccer team received a Team Academic Award from the NSCAA. The award recognizes the academic accomplishments of the 2012-13 season.
Since qualifying for the award for the first time during the 2006 campaign and the Horned Frogs have found a place among the honorees in each of the following seasons. To qualify, the squad has to post a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The Frogs boasted a team GPA of 3.12 during the 2011-12 academic year.
In total, six Big 12 squads earned the Team Academic Award.
