-TCU improved to 20-9 overall and 12-4 in Mountain West Conference play. The win gave the Frogs their eighth 20-win season in the last nine years.
-The win ended a four-game TCU losing streak against Utah dating back to the 2006-07 season.
-TCU featured a different starting lineup for the first time in 23 game dating back to a Nov. 27 loss to Boston College at the Caribbean Challenge in Cancun, Mexico. Micaela Younger started at center for the Frogs in her final regular-season home game.
- Helena Sverrisdottir recorded her eighth double-double of the season and the 10th of her career with 20 points and 10 rebounds. It was her seventh 20-point game of the season.
