Ray Walls returned to TCU in November 2021 and currently serves as Sr. Asssociate Athletics Director, Student-Athlete Develpment.
Walls also serves as the sport administrator for TCU's soccer program.
Walls initially came to TCU in July 2010 as a graduate assistant in the athletics academic services office, before being promoted to a full-time position as assistant director and then assistant athletics director.
After nearly eight years at TCU, Walls became senior associate athletics director for academics and student-athlete development at North Texas in April 2018. He was with the Mean Green for almost four years before returning to TCU.
After earning his bachelor's degree from Southern Miss, Walls played five seasons in the NFL. A fifth-round draft pick of the Indianapolis Colts in 2001, Walls also played with the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens, He saw action in 41 games with three starts.
Following his playing career, Walls served one year as an NCAA Diversity and Inclusion Intern before arriving at TCU.
Walls is married and resides in Arlington, Texas. He has two kids.
