Matt Herrill is in his eighth season as the associate director of sports medicine at TCU.
Herrill came to TCU in December of 2016 and is the primary athletic trainer for men’s basketball and men's golf.
Herrill came to TCU from Kansas where he served five seasons as the athletic trainer for KU football. Prior to Kansas, Herrill was at Oklahoma State for seven seasons from 2005-12 and was the athletic trainer for the nationally ranked OSU wrestling team.
Herrill also worked for OSU from 2003-05 while completing his Master’s of Science in health and human performance in 2005. He graduated with a sport science degree from Kansas in 2003. Herrill also worked as an athletic training student assistant as an undergrad at KU.
He and his wife, Kristin, have three kids, Andrew, Addison and Amelia.
