Five Horned Frogs head to Tulsa looking to qualify for NCAA Championships
FORT WOTH – TCU will take its first crack at qualifying athletes for the NCAA Individual Championships over the coming week.
Five Horned Frogs will play in the ITA All-American Championships, starting Saturday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The invitational, now in its 46th year, runs through Sunday, Sept. 27.
TCU will be represented up north by Matthieu Chambonniere, Maximus Dussault, Roger Pascual, Albert Pedrico and Cooper Woestendick.
Woestendick received direct entry into the main draw in both disciplines. He and Pedrico will partner in doubles. The duo was tabbed No. 6 in the preseason ITA rankings and earned seeded positioning in the 32-team bracket.
Roger Pascual will join Woestendick in main draw singles action. Pascual was one of four players who earned a wild card. Pascual closed the 2026 campaign on a 13-match winning streak. He led TCU in dual singles victories (18) and was unbeaten on the outdoor courts.
Woestendick is TCU's highest-rated player competing. The ITA No. 21 singles player, Woestendick won the Milwaukee Tennis Classic on Sept. 13.
His championship victory came at the expense of his teammate Dussault, who will play qualifying singles alongside Pedrico. Both players need to win two matches to punch their tickets to the main draw.
Dussault and Chambonniere are entered as a prequalifying doubles pair. Chambonniere will commence TCU's participation in prequalifying singles.
All five players are guaranteed at least two matches in each discipline.
The prequalifying rounds run from Saturday-Sunday before giving way to two days of qualifying. Main draw action in both singles and doubles get underway on Wednesday.

About the ITA All-American Championships
The ITA All-American Championships are the first of four fall championship events used to determine the NCAA Championships field. From the ITA All-American Championships, 10 singles players (eight quarterfinalists, two consolation finalists) and all four doubles semifinalists qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships on Nov. 17-22 in Athens, Georgia.
Paul Robinson and current TCU head coach David Roditi won the ITA All-American Men's Doubles Championship in 1994.

Noting the Horned Frogs
- TCU returns seven letter winners from its 2025-26 roster, six of whom have at least three years of eligibility remaining.
- Seven Horned Frogs combined to garner 11 preseason ITA rankings, the third-most of any Division I program. TCU was also one of only three teams to produce a preseason top-10 singles player, doubles pair and newcomer.
- TCU's roster combined to capture eight ITF futures titles from June-August. Roger Pascual was a three-time winner while Oliver Bonding, Matthieu Chambonniere, Maximus Dussault, Albert Pedrico and Cooper Woestendick all bagged a singles or doubles championship.
- Pascual, along with Duncan Chan and Jamie Mackenzie, turned heads on the ATP Tour over the summer. Chan qualified for the main singles draw of the Montreal Masters 1000. He then advanced to the doubles quarterfinals, winning a round of 16 match opposite world No. 2 Alexander Zverev. Pascual reached his first career ATP Challenger quarterfinal at the Cranbrook Tennis Classic. The lefty went on to win a qualifying match at the ATP 250 Los Cabos. Mackenzie came one victory short of claiming a Challenger level crown at the ATP Bonn Open, finishing as the runner up.
- TCU has competed to a 150-30 record over the last six seasons. The Horned Frogs' 150 wins since 2021 rank second nationally.
- The Horned Frogs have challenged for six of the last 10 indoor or outdoor national championships dating back to 2022. TCU has advanced to the semifinals or farther eight times in that span The Frogs won back-to-back ITA Indoor National titles in 2022 and 2023 and claimed the NCAA National Championship in 2024.
- TCU head coach David Roditi is one of only two active D1 head coaches who has won both an ITA Indoor National Championship and NCAA Championship and also coached an NCAA individual champion.
- Roditi has led TCU to 330 dual victories across his 16-season run at the helm of his alma mater. He trails only his own head coach, Tut Bartzen, who won 507 matches from 1974-1998.
- Under Roditi's direction, TCU has notched 12 consecutive year-end ITA top-10 team rankings, a streak unmatched by any D1 program. The Horned Frogs have cracked the top-five of the final rankings in six straight seasons, most recently garnering the No. 4 ranking at the conclusion of the 2026 dual season. TCU has additionally boasted a top-10 ITA team ranking in 73 consecutive polls dating back to March 10, 2020.
- The Horned Frogs have sent 12 players to the NCAA Individual Championships over the last four seasons. Pedro Vives and Maxted won the 2024 NCAA Doubles Championship to give the program its second NCAA individual title. Among returning players, Duncan Chan and Albert Pedrico both qualified in 2025.
