Frogs in Fourth After 36 Holes at Big 12

Udovich leads TCU in seventh place
HUTCHINSON, Kan. – TCU finished the first two rounds of the Big 12 Men's Golf Championship in fourth place Monday at Prairie Dunes Country Club.
The Horned Frogs battled a steady north wind across the Kansas landscape, but stayed consistent across the two rounds, shooting 1-over 281 in the first round and even-par 280 in the second. They trail No. 6 Texas Tech (-1) by two strokes. No. 5 Oklahoma State leads the way at 14-under.
Sam Udovich led the Horned Frogs at 2-under 138 and is tied for seventh. The freshman made nine birdies in his second round to shoot 4-under 66. It was a six-stroke improvement over his opening round score of 2-over 72. Udovich's 13 birdies through two rounds were the second-most of the tournament.
Charlie Wylie had a bogey-free opening round score of 3-under 67 before shooting 3-over 73. At even-par 140, Wylie is in a tie for 17th place.
Lewis Wright shot consecutive rounds of 1-over 71 and is in a tie for 25th place at 2-over 142.
Nathan Miller is tied for 42nd place at 5-over 145. Jack Beauchamp recovered after an opening round of 7-over 77 to shoot even par in round two.
The Frogs will begin the third round at 11:05 a.m. on hole No. 1.
