TCU sits fourth nationally in aggregate score
FORT WORTH āĀ The No. 3-ranked TCU women's rifle team heads to Columbus, Ohio this weekend for a triangular match against No. 14 Ohio State and No. 8 Navy. The match is slated to begin at 8 a.m. (CT) at the Ohio State Range.Ā

Making the trip to Ohio will be Viola Allen, Sarolta Bozsolik, Isabella Cilliers, Marissa Fedora, Christina Hillinger, Rylie Passmore, Amanda Pettersen, Alexandra Rosenlew and Ziva Swick.

TCU had a strong start to the 2026-27 campaign, finishing second in a four-team match at Navy last weekend. The Frogs fired a 2,345 in smallbore and a 2,373 in air rifle for an aggregate score of 4,718.

Fedora began the season strong, posting a 591 in smallbore and a 594 in air rifle, ranking her second and eighth in the disciplines, respectfully. Her aggregate score of 1,185 led the team and placed third overall among competitors.Ā

Hillinger (1,178), Passmore (1,173), and Pettersen (1,177) also finished in the top ten among shooters. Allen had a solid collegiate debut, shooting a 592 in air rifle and posting an aggregate score of 1,170 for a ninth-place finish.

Cilliers shot a 592 in air rifle in her collegiate debut and finished with an aggregate score of 1,165. Bozsolik shot a 577 in smallbore in her first match as a Horned Frog.

Swick finished fourth in air rifle, leading the team with a score of 595. Rosenlew's score of 584 in smallbore places her sixth among competitors.
TCU and Navy will be meeting for the second straight weekend. Navy finished first in the match, shooting a 2,347 in smallbore and a 2,382 in air rifle for an aggregate score of 4,729.Ā

Ohio State also got its season underway last weekend, finishing second in a triangular match at Ole Miss. The Buckeyes shot a 2,309 in smallbore and a 2,342 in air rifle for an aggregate mark of 4,651.
