Rifle Unveils 2026-27 Schedule

TCU will shoot six home matches
FORT WORTH – TCU women's rifle head coach Karen Monez has announced the 2026-27 schedule which features six home matches.
The Horned Frogs will kick off the season on Sept. 26 at Navy with a triangular match against the Midshipmen and VMI. It will mark the sixth consecutive year that TCU has opened the season in Annapolis, Md.
The first of three meetings with Ohio State follows on Oct. 4 as TCU travels to Columbus, Ohio for its second match of the season.
TCU's home slate opens on Oct. 11 against Army. That match is followed by two road tilts at UTEP (Oct. 24) and at The Citadel (Oct. 31).
November opens with a home match against Ole Miss (Nov. 7). The fall slate concludes Nov. 14-15 at the West Virginia Fall Classic which will feature the host school, Kentucky, Nebraska and Ole Miss.
After a nearly two month hiatus, the Frogs will return to action with a pair of home matches Jan. 17 and Jan. 18. TCU will host a triangular match with Ohio State and Schreiner University on Sunday before shooting a dual match against the Buckeyes on Monday.
TCU will head to the US Olympic Training Center on Jan. 24 before wrapping up the month at home against UTEP on Jan. 30.
The Frogs will gear up for the postseason as it looks for its eighth Patriot Rifle Conference Championship Feb. 5-6 in Lincoln, Neb.
TCU will fire its final regular season match on Feb. 13 at Air Force before heading back to Fort Worth to begin postseason competition. As has been the tradition, TCU and Air Force will shoot their NCAA qualifier match against each other. The match is slated for Feb. 20 at the TCU Rifle Range.
The Horned Frogs will be aiming for their 21st straight appearance in the National Championship match. The championships will be held in Statesboro, Ga. on the campus of Georgia State March 12-13.
