
Zaun Headlines Rifle’s All-Americans

Zaun was named the CRCA Senior of the Year
FORT WORTH – A quartet of TCU rifle athletes earned a combined seven CRCA All-American honors. Katie Zaun earned a trio of first-team selections in addition to being named the CRCA Senior of the Year.
Zaun wraps up her illustrious career with first-team honors in air rifle, smallbore and aggregate score. A 16-time All-American, Zaun was a first-team honoree in air rifle and smallbore all four years of her collegiate career and three times for aggregate score. This season, she was once again among the nation's top shooters. She ranked third nationally in smallbore average (592.25), fifth nationally in air rifle average (597.40) and fourth in aggregate average (1,189.65).
Rylie Passmore earned a pair of All-American accolades. She was tabbed a second-team performer in smallbore and earned honorable mention honors in aggregate. In her second season on campus, Passmore boasted a 588.18 average in smallbore, a mark that ranked 13th nationally. She was 20th nationally with an aggregate average of 1,182.65.
Alexandra Rosenlew had a tremendous debut campaign for the Frogs earning second-team All-American honors in smallbore. She ranked 16th nationally with a season average of 587.31.
Mackenzie Kring also turned in a strong freshman campaign and was honored as a second-team All-American in air rifle. She ranked 18th nationally with a season average of 595.92 in the discipline.
TCU had yet another strong season under the guidance of Head Coach Karen Monez. The squad qualified for the NCAA Championships for the 20th consecutive season. They finished as the National Runner-Up. They also brought home runner-up trophies in both disciplines.
