Horned Frogs head to Navy Collegiate Cup

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Coming off a first-place finish at the Desert's Edge Triathlon in Colorado, TCU triathlon travels to Annapolis this weekend. The Horned Frogs will compete in their third race of the season at the Navy Collegiate Cup on Sunday, Oct. 4, at 7:10 a.m. CT.
Seven Horned Frogs will compete for TCU, including Amanda Moro, Antonia Jubb, Eve Frost, Edita Pozlerová, Stefania Salazar, Isabella Carreras and Emily Knopfle.
Last race, the Frogs placed four athletes inside the top 10 and six among the top 16 overall, led by a fifth-place finish from Marley Andelman. TCU finished ahead of a field that included fellow nationally ranked programs Arizona, Arizona State, San Francisco, Denver and South Dakota.
The Navy Collegiate Cup field will include TCU, Navy, San Francisco, Denver, Duquesne and East Tennessee State, along with several additional programs.
The Navy Collegiate Cup marks the final regular-season race for the Horned Frogs before TCU hosts the NCAA West Regional in October. The regional will serve as a national championship qualifier.
