Horned Frogs Take on World Stage in Pontevedra

FORT WORTH - TCU triathlon will be represented on the international stage this week as fifth year Edita Pozlerová and junior Julia Visgueiro prepare to compete at the 2026 World Triathlon Championships in Pontevedra, Spain.
Pozlerová will be the first Horned Frog to race, competing in the Junior World Championships on Thursday, Sept. 24. Following Pozlerová's race, Visgueiro will represent TCU in the U23 World Championships on Friday, Sept. 25.
The international competition brings together top triathletes from around the globe, giving both Horned Frogs the opportunity to compete against elite representatives on the world stage.
While Pozlerová and Visgueiro compete internationally, the remainder of the TCU triathlon team will return to collegiate competition on Sunday, Sept. 27, at the Desert's Edge Collegiate Cup.
The Horned Frogs will look to build on their early-season momentum as they continue the 2026 season.
