TCU Places Second at Southern Hills Collegiate Cup

HOT SPRINGS, S.D. – No. 3 TCU triathlon opened its 2026 campaign with a second-place finish at the Southern Hills Collegiate Cup on Saturday.
The Horned Frogs tallied 290 points, finishing behind Arizona State's 318 and ahead of San Francisco (268), Denver (236) and South Dakota (208). Junior Julia Visgueiro led the Frogs with a runner-up finish, crossing the line in 31:10, in her TCU debut.
In total, TCU placed seven athletes inside the top 20, including four in the top 15. Marley Andelman finished 11th in 31:53, followed closely by Gwen Watson in 12th (32:05). Kadence Ribbink rounded out the Frogs, placing 15th (32:19).
Sara Gimena crossed the line 17th in 32:31, while freshman Antonia Jubb made her collegiate debut with an 18th-place finish in 32:43. Emily Knopfle gave TCU its seventh top-20 finisher, clocking a 33:01.
The Horned Frogs return to action on Sept. 27 at the Desert's Edge Collegiate Cup in Loma, Colo.
