Frogs race for the third straight weekend at the Texas A&M Invitational
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – TCU cross country is back in action this weekend at the Texas A&M Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 8:00 a.m. CT.
Last weekend, Mckenzie Bailey and Anastacia Gonzales both finished in the top 10, leading the women's side to a second-place overall team finish at the UTA Gerald Richey Invitational. On the men's side, Brayden Schick was the top male runner with a time of 15:23.80.
TCU raced against the Aggies to open the 2025 season. The men and women finished second at the John Mckenzie Invitational behind Texas A&M.
Looking ahead into the race at the Watts Cross Country Course, the Frogs will compete in their third meet of the season. The men's side will race in their first 8k of the year and the women's side will race in their third straight 5k of the season. The course will feature Blinn College, Dallas Baptist, Ouachita Baptist, SMU, UC San Diego, Houston, UNT, UT Arlington and the host Texas A&M.
Last year, the TCU men placed first overall, with five team members in the top 10 individually.
