FORT WORTH – The TCU women's tennis team took down the UT Arlington Mavericks, 4-0, on Wednesday afternoon at the UTA Tennis Center in Arlington, Texas.

LEE'S THOUGHTS
"There were lots of positives about today. Isa has really been prioritizing playing with a lead and learning to close better." Head Coach Lee Walker said. "Shes been in position all year to dominate but has let her opponent come back on too many occasions. Today she kept the foot on gas and got a very tough, but lopsided victory, I'm proud of her."

"Cayetana got her first win as a Horned Frog. She's got such a bright future ahead. She has so many tools and just needs to settle into the college tennis environment. And Yuki was just so brave today closing out the match for our team. She continues to get better and better as she continues to focus on her mental toughness. We are ready for Big 12 play!

THE RUNDOWN
The match started in doubles, where Tomi Main and Raquel Caballero made quick work on court three with a 6-3 victory. Jade Otway and Isabel Pascual secured the doubles point for the Horned Frogs with a 6-4 win on court one.

In singles, the Horned Frogs continued their winning ways, when Isabel Pascual won in straight sets on court three in a 6-1, 6-1 victory. Cayetana Gay won her first ever match as a Horned Frog with a 6-3, 6-2 win on court five.

It was Yu-Chin Tsai who clinched the match for TCU with a 6-2, 7-6 (2) win on court three. This moved Tsai to five wins on the season in singles, the most on the team.
