Frogs dual SMU Thursday and Baylor Saturday
FORT WORTH - The TCU women's tennis team (10-6, 6-4 Big 12) heads east to play No. 40 SMU (9-9, 4-1 ACC) on Thursday at 3 p.m. in Dallas. The Horned Frogs will be back in Fort Worth on Saturday to play No. 35 Baylor (15-8, 7-3 Big 12) at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center at 11 a.m.

Frog Focus
TCU is coming off a tough 0-2 weekend where the Frogs fell 4-3 in both matches. Destinee Martins and Isabel Pascual both went 2-0 on the weekend in singles. Martins took down both of her opponents in straight sets. Pascual started the weekend off with a three-set dual in Lubbock before taking down her BYU opponent 6-3, 6-2 and advancing to 7-2 in conference play.
Helena Narmont had a strong showing at Texas Tech winning her match in straight sets and moving to 6-2 in conference play. Raquel Caballero Chica picked up her sixth win of the season at BYU in a three-set thriller. The freshman dropped the first set 6-2 before battling back to win 6-2, 6-1.
Scouting the Opposition
SMU heads into the match 9-9 with a record of 4-1 in the American Conference. The Mustangs won their last time out against Tulsa. SMU won a 4-3 thriller against the Golden Hurricane.
Baylor has acquired a record of 15-8 and a 7-3 record in the Big 12. The Bears fell to Texas Tech in Lubbock last Saturday, 4-0.
