Ekdahl Qualifies for 3-Meter NCAA Championships

Minneapolis, Minnesota: David Earns another spot at the NCAA Championships with the conclusion of day two at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships.
David Ekdahl continues to solidify his already impressive career as just a sophomore. The Swed finished in 11th place at the Zone D Diving Championships earning an additional spot at the NCAA National Championships.
Three other Horned Frogs eclipsed the prelims and advanced to the finals. Transfer Max Burman finished in 13th place with a total score of 695.15. Freshman Ollie Cazaly has stedily improve with a 16th place finish and a final tally of 665.75. Alec Hubbard slotted at 18th with a score of 652.25.
The women's team brought two Frogs to the women's 1-meter springboard final. Anna Kwong and Faith Harms-Zacharias battled in the prelims reaching the finals. Both divers finished back-to-back in 15th and 16th overall with Zacharias scoring 541.40 and Kwong at 541.30.
Up Next: Divers will wrap up the final day at Zones with the platform events.
