Six Frogs Compete
Fort Worth -- TCU women's tennis will host the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Texas Regional Championship (Sept. 22-26) at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. Six Frogs will compete this weekend in both singles and doubles.
Thursday (Sept. 22)
Senior Margaret Polk will open up Thursday's action in singles against Susanna Brass at 9:30 am. Polk and Freshman Yu-Chin Tsai will begin doubles play at 4:00 pm versus UTSA's duo of Lexie Weir and Adeliya Mukhutdinova. Sophomore Jade Otway and junior Destinee Martins begin their doubles action at 4:00 pm as the 15 seed.
Friday (Sept. 23)
Sophomore Helena Narmont, Otway, Martins, Tsai and graduate senior Mercedes Aristegui are set to serve at 9:00 am in singles. Aristegui is seeded 15th in the tournament. In doubles, eight seeded Narmont and Aristegui will recieve a first round bye and compete at 4:00 pm.
