The three-day meet begins Friday
FORT WORTH – The Horned Frogs are ready for the postseason as they head to Lubbock, Texas, for the Big 12 Outdoor Championships.
Sydney Juszczyk is the only Frog that will compete on Friday as she competes in the javelin at 4 p.m. On Saturday, Gracie Morris will kick things off in the 1500m at 5 p.m. Sunday's competition for TCU begins at 12 p.m. as Samantha Callaway competes in the women's discus.

Five meet records, a facility record and two TCU school records highlighted the Alumni Muster as the Frogs wrapped up the regular season with an impressive performance.
The 4x100 team broke the meet and facility record with a time of 38.75. The squad of Bryson Stubblefield, Tinotenda Matiyenga, Kundai Maguranyanga and Robert Gregory Jr. won the race and ran the fourth-fastest time in the NCAA this season.
In the 800m, Gracie Morris broke her second outdoor school record in two weeks with her time of 2:05.38. She won her heat and broke the meet record as well.
Devin Roberson shattered his personal-best throw of the season in the discus with a mark of 58.19m (190-11). He moved up to third on TCU's all-time records list and broke the meet record.
Chengetayi (Du) Mapaya made his outdoor debut and did not disappoint. The senior jumped a 16.19m (53-1.50) to win the event, break the meet record and record the T-No. 9 mark in the NCAA this season.
In the men's 5K, Lakelin Conrad ran a personal-best time of 14:23.89 to break the meet record and finish first overall.
Gregory continued to shine after the 4x100. The sophomore won the 100m with a time of 10.20 (1.2w) which tied the meet record. He also took first in the 200m with a season-best time of 20.44 (0.3w). Gregory finished the day with three wins.
Matiyenga also had a stellar day as he recorded second-place finishes in both the 100m and 200m, only behind Gregory. In addition to him being the second leg on the 4x100, he ran a 10.25 (1.1w) in the 100m and clocked a 20.58 (0.3w) in the 200m.

2021 Big 12 Championship Recap
The Frogs captured two titles at last year's Big 12 Championships. Mapaya won his fourth Big 12 gold medal while also breaking the Big 12 Championship record with a mark of 17.01m (55-9.75).
The men's 4x100 team of TJ Brock, Matiyenga, Maguranyanga and Gregory collected hardware with a first-place finish, clocking a time of 39.75. Gregory continued his stellar outdoor championships performance by winning silver in the 200m with a time of 20.69.
2022 NCAA Indoor Championships
The Horned Frogs shined at the NCAA Indoor Championships with the men's team finishing 10th overall with a team score of 20 points.
Robert Gregory Jr. was named the national runner-up in the 200m with a time of 20.77 and Tinotenda Matiyenga followed closely behind him by finishing third with a time of 20.84. Both Frogs earned First Team All-America honors.
Chengetayi (Du) Mapaya was named a First Team All-American after earning bronze in the triple jump with a mark of 16.51m (54-2).

Mapaya returns for his final outdoor season to defend his national title in the outdoor triple jump from 2019. He also garnered a bronze medal at the 2019 NCAA Indoor Championships as well. As a freshman in 2018, Mapaya reached the championship in the triple jump and finished third with a 16.38m (53-9) jump.
Mapaya secured the national championship in the most dramatic fashion possible. Going into his sixth and final jump of the night, Mapaya was in third place after a jump of 16.94m (55-7) in his fifth attempt. On the final jump of the competition, Mapaya jumped 17.13m (56-2.5) passing up event leader Jordan Scott of Virginia (17.01m, 55-9.75) and winning the national championship. It was TCU's first national title in track and field since Ronnie Baker won the 60m dash in 2016.
He broke the school record in the triple jump at last year's NCAA Indoor Championships with a mark of 16.95m (55-7.5). He currently holds both the indoor and outdoor TCU triple jump records.
