Two TCU Divers Reign Victorius

Burman and Kwong place first
Two TCU divers took home gold at the SMU Invite in Dallas, Texas. The swim team completed day two at the Art Adamson Invitational with three swimmers earning B-cuts in College Station, Texas.
Anna Kwong in the 1-meter and Max Burman in the 3-meter scored top times in the finals at the SMU Invite. Both divers earned zone cuts on the afternoon along with three other divers.
In the men's 3-meter, David Ekdahl scored 326.65 to qualify for the finals. Freshman Ollie Cazaly scored 326.10 finishing in third place. Alec Hubbard finished with a score of 322.00 in the final adding another Zone Cut.
In the pool, three swimmers earned B-cuts. Geremia Freri earned the first standard in the 400 IM with a time of 3:46.71 going top five in the event. Jadon Wuilliez (52.63) and Janis Silins (53.55) both earned cuts in the 100-yard breast, finishing in fifth and ninth respectively.
In the women's 200 medley relay, Rylee Moore, Claire Chahbandour, Jeanne Dahmen and Serena Gould were .15 seconds shy of the program record with a time of 1:39.59. The men's team of Elliott Jones, Wuilliez, Piotr Sadlowski and Raphael Paiva Da Lima clocked in at 1:26.35 for fourth in TCU history.
In the prelims, Jones swam the 100-yard back in just 47.79 seconds for the fifth-best performance in school history.
Milan Fabian in the 200-freestyle clocked in at 1:36.42 for the third-best time in TCU history.
The women's 800 free relay team of Emma Hultquist, Gould, Abigail Meder and Yasmin Lopes finished just .04 seconds away from the school record at 7:15.16.
Up Next: TCU swim will finish the Art Adamson Invitational Friday, Nov. 18 at Rec Center Natatorium. The Dive team will compete in day two at the SMU Invite.
