Horned Frogs put on dominant display to remain unbeaten outdoors, at home
FORT WORTH – TCU women's tennis displayed skill and poise in a quick, 7-0 victory over Texas-Rio Grande Valley Wednesday afternoon at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. Singles play lasted a little over an hour as all six Horned Frogs took home straight-set victories on the purple courts.
DOUBLES RECAP
TCU collected a pair of swift victories on courts one and two to secure its fourth doubles point of the season.
Stevie Kennedy and Kate Paulus secured their second victory of the season together on two. The duo jumped up by a break early, 3-0, and held serve for the rest of the match, adding in another break for good measure, winning, 6-1.
At No. 1 doubles, Addy Guevara and Marie Norris won their second match as a pair as well, collecting an early break and showing strong service games to give the Horned Frogs a one-point advantage heading into singles competition.

SINGLES RECAP
TCU flexed its muscles in singles play, winning all 12 sets of action and outscoring UTRGV 72-10 across all six courts.
Marie Norris claimed her team-leading sixth win of the campaign. Playing at No. 1 singles, the senior dispatched her opponent, 6-0, in the opening set and finished the job, 6-1 in the second.
Stevie Kennedy maintained her good form with another with at No. 3: 6-1, 6-2. She now boasts five wins in dual season, second most on the team.
Elsewhere, Addy Guevara picked up her first win of the 2020 campaign after injuries forced her to miss time earlier in the year. Kate Paulus won her second match of the season in her first singles action since retiring before her singles match against Texas Tech, Feb. 23, and Maraget Polk secured her second win as a Horned Frog in dominant fashion at No. 4
