LAST TIME OUT- Reveille Invitational
In December, TCU sent several athletes to Texas A&M for the Reveille Invite where the pole vaulting group started the season strong. Adam McAdoo, who was sidelined with an injury most of the 2017-2018 year, set the TCU indoor record by reaching 4.77m (15-7.75). The women's duo of Kendahl Shue and Tysen Townsend both reached 3.72m (12-2.5), matching the school record.
TCU's women's 4x400 tandem of Kayla Heard, Lily Beckford, Kennedy Crawford, and Kiana Banks debuted the season with time of 3:40.79, faster than any mark TCU had last year's indoor season. The men's 4x400 relay of Glenn Bender, Tinotenda Matiyenga, Blake Hennesay, and Derrick Mokaleng finished second with a time of 3:10.94.
A pair of Horned Frogs made their TCU debuts with successful performances. Tarrick Brock debuted with a third-place finish in the 200m and a fifth-place finish in the 60m, while Brooklin Klopf worked her way into the TCU Top 10 for shot put with a throw of 13.99m (45-10.75).
