TCU Scholar Athletes of the Month

Stalder, a junior communication studies major from Costa Mesa, Calif., went 7-0 in the month of April for the Frogs and helped TCU capture their third-straight Big 12 Conference regular season title. He also did not lose a single doubles match on the month, going 5-0 with a sixth finishing undecided. Stalder earned TCU Athlete of the Week honors for his performance against No. 14 Oklahoma and No. 11 Oklahoma State. He was also named to the 2018 Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
Stadler and the rest of the men's tennis team will learn its spot in the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship during the selection show that will air live on NCAA.com on Tuesday, May 1 at 4:30 p.m., CT.
Norris, a junior economics major from Burdett, Kan., went 7-2 on the month, with her only two losses coming against No. 6 Texas. Her efforts helped the Frogs go on a three-match win streak to end the regular season. Norris was named to the 2018 Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
Norris and the women's tennis team's season has come to an end. The Frogs picked up 13 overall victories, including six within the Texas region.
