Horned Frogs Down Texas State, 4-1

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU women's tennis team made quick work on Tuesday afternoon as the Horned Frogs scored a 4-1 victory over Texas State at the Bobcat Tennis Center in San Marcos, Texas.
The Frogs (10-13) ran out to early leads on all three doubles matches against the Bobcats (4-14) with the pairing of Alexis Pereira and Aleksa Cveticanin scoring first with a 6-1 victory on court two. Meredith Roberts and Elizabeth Tedford were able to clinch the doubles point for TCU by getting their own 6-1 win on court three.
TCU did not let up in singles action with the first set victory on five of the six courts. Marie Norris only dropped lost one game in her match as she picked up a 6-0, 6-1 win on court two to give the Frogs point No. 2 in the match. Stevie Kennedy followed with a 6-1, 6-1 win of her own on court three before Cveticanin clinched the overall match victory with a 6-3, 6-1 win on court one.
