Head Coach Lee Taylor Walker added two to the spring 2019 roster.
FORT WORTH, Texas – Top local talents will complete the 2019 spring roster for the TCU women's tennis team as announced by head coach Lee Taylor Walker on Monday.
Ellie Douglas, a blue chip recruit from McKinney, Texas, and Addy Guevara, a five-star recruit from Keller, Texas, are set to join the Horned Frogs in January.
"Having Ellie and Addy come on board at TCU this January is very exciting," Walker said. "We want players that have a good perspective on life, are up for the challenge to grow personally and have an unwavering commitment to reaching their goals. We are grateful to have this opportunity to work with both of them and our team and staff are eager for them to start."

A blue chip recruit according to TennisRecruiting.net … played solely on the pro circuit the last year and is currently ranked No. 796 in the singles and reached a career-high ranking of No. 1121 in doubles this year … reached the quarterfinals of doubles at the $25K event in Irapuato in March 2018 and the $15K event in Evansville in July 2017 … ranked as high as No. 16 in the ITF junior rankings … competed in the junior portion of three of the grand slams … played in the US Open and French Open in 2016 and the US Open, French Open and Wimbledon in 2017 … advanced to the quarterfinals in doubles and the Round of 16 in singles at Wimbledon … made the quarterfinals in doubles in 2017 at the French Open … made the finals of the Easter Bowl Championships in 2016 and 2017 in singles and also advanced to the semifinals in doubles in 2017 … partnered with Elizabeth Mandlik and won the doubles title at the USTA International Spring Championships … made the singles finals at back-to-back tournaments in 2016 … won the singles titles at the Wichita Falls ITF event and the Austin ITF event in fall of 2016.
