WTEN Splits for Weekend

FORT WORTH, Texas – In its second to last weekend of action, the TCU women's tennis team will split between the David Kent Invitational in College Station, Texas and the Lakewood Ranch Dick Vitale Intercollegiate Clay Court Classic in Lakewood Ranch, Fla., for action this weekend.
In College Station, TCU will face opponents by Rice on the first day before taking on the host Aggies and then Washington. In Florida, the tournament features a 32-player singles draw and 16-team doubles bracket.
TCU is coming off a break in fall action after competing at the ITA Texas Regional Championships Presented by Oracle in Waco two weeks ago. Marie Norris made it to the quarterfinals in the singles main draw, while Sofiko Kadzhaya posted four straight wins to reach the semifinals in the singles consolation draw.
