BRADENTON, Fla. - The TCU men's golf team opened play at the NCAA Championship on Friday at The Concession Golf Club, going 8-over to sit in 11th place overall.
The Horned Frogs carded an 8-over round of 296 and are just four strokes out of fifth position. The top 15 teams following 54 holes will advance to Monday's final round of stroke play. The top eight teams from that round will advance to match play.
