TCU Finishes Third in Japan

Three finish in top 10
SHIZOUKA, Japan – Three Horned Frogs finished in the top 10 and TCU placed third as a team Friday at the Pan Pacific University Super League Tournament in Japan.
Sophomore Nathan Miller led the Frogs at 8-under 208 and finished tied for fourth, his fourth-career top 10 finish. He had a final round of 2-under 69, which included a front nine score of 3-under 33. Miller was the only TCU player to finish under par all three rounds. It was his best score and top placing since winning the Watersound Invitational last season with a score of 9-under 201.
Toby Wilt and Charlie Wylie tied for 10th place at 4-under 209. Wilt shot even-par 71 on Friday and Wylie went 2-over 73. For Wylie, it was a career-best finish, 54-hole score and score vs. par. It was Wilt's first top 10 finish in two seasons.
Sam Udovich finished even-par 213 and tied for 19th place after finishing the final round 2-over 73.
Freshman Cameron Kuchar had his best round of the tournament and TCU's best round of the day shooting 3-under 68. Kuchar finished 5-over 218 and tied for 27th place.
At 21-under 831, the Horned Frogs finished behind New Mexico (-28) and tournament champion Nihon (-36).
TCU will continue the season Sept. 14-15 at the Bearcat Invitational at Coldstream Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.
