Three TCU players in top 10
SHIZOUKA, Japan – Sophomore Nathan Miller moved up to fourth place, three shots out of the lead, on Thursday after two rounds of the Pan Pacific University Super League Tournament in Japan.
Miller had the Horned Frogs' best round of the day at 4-under 67. He is 6-under 136 for the tournament which ties with Charlie Wylie after the junior's even-par 71. They are three behind the two leaders that hail from Nihon University in Japan.
Toby Wilt remains inside the top 10 after shooting even-par 71. He is in 10th place at 4-under 138.
Sam Udovich repeated his opening round score of 1-under 70 and is tied for 13th place at 2-under 140.
The Horned Frogs are in third place after shooting 5-under 279. Nihon University remains in first after shooting 24-under par. The unique tournament mixed with Japanese and American universities also includes 12 women's teams.
TCU will begin the third round Friday morning in Japan, which will be Thursday evening in Texas.
