TCU Appears in Preseason ITA Rankings

FORT WORTH - Two singles players and a doubles duo from TCU's women's tennis team appeared in the preseason Campbell's/ITA College Tennis Rankings.
TCU doubles tandem Millie Nichols and Olivia Smith debuted at No. 16 in the rankings and are the third-highest ranked tandem in the Big 12. A year ago, Nichols and Smith received an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships and posted a 19-7 overall record.
In singles, sophomore Stefanie Tan checked in at No. 56, while sophomore Simona Parajova is No. 87. A year ago, Tan went 20-11 overall and was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Year. Parajova tallied a 21-9 overall mark.
The preseason rankings are the only rankings of the fall individual season. Once the spring dual season begins, rankings are released weekly.
