Frogs Tied for 27th Overall at NCAA Nationals

OOLTEWAH, Tenn. - The TCU men's golf program concluded its first round of action tied for 27th place on Tuesday afternoon at the NCAA National Championships at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tenn.
The Horned Frogs recorded a team score of 14-over-par 302 in the first round of action. Oklahoma State and Florida State currently share the lead with a 5-under-par score of 283 while Oregon (284), Texas A&M (295), Arizona State (286) and Clemson (286) round out the top-five.
Johan de Beer and Eli Cole led the Frogs with a 2-over-par score of 74 en route to tying for 65th overall. Travis Woolf concluded the afternoon with a 4-over-par score of 76 en route to tying for 103rd overall.
Daniel Jennevret notched a score of 78 to tied for 129th overall while Pontus Gad concluded the afternoon tied for 146th overall with an 8-over-par score of 80.
The second round of the 2010 NCAA National Championships will be held on Wednesday at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tenn. The Frogs will be paired with San Diego and Kent State on Wednesday afternoon.
