-TCU improved to 13-4 overall and 3-1 in the Mountain West Conference.
-TCU avoided losing consecutive MWC games for the first time since the 2006-07 season. The Frogs have dropped two straight league games only twice overall since joining the conference for the 2005-06 season.
-Helena Sverrisdottir led TCU in scoring for the sixth time with 22 points, which marked her third 20-point outing this season.
-Emily Carter recorded her team-leading fourth 20-point effort of the season with 21 points.
-Eboni Mangum missed her first free throw opportunity of the game, her first miss in 22 attempts dating back to a Nov. 20, 2008 win over UT Arlington. She is now 18-of-20 this season.
-Mangum scored in double figures for the fourth time this season, and the first time since TCU's Nov. 28 win over Kansas, with 12 points.
-Mangum led TCU with a career-high five steals, while senior TK LaFleur added four thefts. Frogs forced San Diego State into 23 turnovers while committing only 12 themselves.
-Starr Crawford pulled down 11 rebounds, marking her eighth game with at least 10 boards this season.
-Delisa Gross' four blocked shots tied Crawford's Nov. 23 performance against Texas Southern as TCU's season best.
