TCU Head Coach Jeff Mittie
On his view of TCU's play:
"I think in all areas we were really pleased. I thought we shared the ball well, but I am a little displeased with the turnovers. I thought we got a little sloppy in stretches, but that would be the only thing I didn't like.
"I thought our team communicated well up the floor. We talked about wanting this team to keep playing. In the past we occasionally stopped playing. I think this team played tonight."
On what he liked about TCU's effort:
"Our team is really fun to watch. When they share the basketball and find the open person, we are a pretty good team."
On the play of freshman guard Antoinette Thompson:
"I think Antoinette gave us a big lift in the first half. Her activity level extended some plays. She was also active on the defensive glass, which really got us into some transition."
Sophomore guard Helena Sverrisdottir
On how her team played:
"We were just having fun. That gives us a spark to play even better. I could feel it on the court tonight. It was a lot of fun to play."
