Frogs Finish Second Overall After 18 Holes at Isleworth

WINDERMERE, Fla. - The TCU men's golf program concluded the first day of action in second place with a team score of 290 at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational on Sunday in Windermere, Fla.
The Horned Frogs finished one stroke behind the tournament leader Stanford, who collected a score of 289, while Oklahoma State (291), Florida (292) and Texas Tech (296) round out the top-five.
Travis Woolf (Fort Worth, Texas | Paschal H.S.) was the Frogs' top performer as the TCU senior collected a 3-under-par score of 69 en route to finishing the afternoon tied for fourth overall.
TCU newcomer Daniel Jennevret (Sandviken, Sweden | Sandviken Bessemer) collected an even-par score of 72 while finishing tied for 12th overall while Tom Hoge (Fargo, N.D. | Fargo South H.S.) finished tied for 14th overall with a 1-over-par score of 73.
Johan de Beer (Pretoria, South Africa | Pretoria Boys' H.S.) collected a 4-over-par score of 76 en route to tying for 33rd overall while Pontus Gad (Linkoping, Sweden | Klippans Gymasiekola) finished tied for 37th overall with a 5-over-par score of 77.
The second round of the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational in Windermere, Fla., will be held on Monday at the Isleworth County Club.
